New Willerby buses

Services between Hull and Cottingham, Willerby and Willerby Road

There are some exciting changes to our Cottingham, Willerby and Willerby Road buses.  We've made the network simpler by cutting down the number of different services and increasing some services in frequency, so on our new Twenty-Ten routes you'll never have to wait long for a bus.

Twenty-Ten explained - if you live in Willerby, Cottingham or in the Willerby Road area you'll benefit from our new Twenty-Ten routes.  Two overlapping services will run every 20 minutes, so you'll never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus.  If you live near a Twenty-Ten route you will get one of our Twenty Ten Guides through your door on 4 or 5 February - or download a copy here.  Read on for information on the new timetables:

Service 33 (Hull City Centre - Spring Bank - Wymersley Road) - This will now run every 20 minutes.  In conjunction with Service 44, there are now buses to Willerby Road every 10 minutes.

Service 44 (Hull City Centre - Spring Bank - Willerby Road - Willerby Square) - This will now run every 20 minutes.  In conjunction with Service 33 there will now be a bus to Willerby Road every 10 minutes.  In conjunction with Service 154 there will now be a bus to Willerby Square every 10 minutes.

Services 45 & 47 (Hull City Centre - Spring Bank - Willerby Road - Willerby) - These services will both be withdrawn and replaced by the new improved Services 44 and 35.

Service 35 (Hull City Centre - Anlaby Road - Spring Bank West - Wymersley Road) - This service will be extended to Willerby Square via Kingston Road and The Parkway and will now run hourly.

Service 154 (Hull City Centre - Anlaby Road - Willerby - Castle Hill Hospital - Cottingham) - This service will now run every 20 minutes, and in conjunction with Service 44 will mean there will be a bus from Willerby to Hull every 10 minutes.  Service 154 will also become part of the new circular service - see below for details.

Service 105 (Hull City Centre - Beverley Road - University - Cottingham) - This service, in conjunction with Service 115, will provide a 10 minute service to Cottingham.  Some Sunday journey times will change, please check the new timetable for details.

Service 115 (Hull City Centre - The Avenues - University - Cottingham - Castle Hill) - This service, in conjunction with Service 105, will provide a 10 minute service to Cottingham.  Some journey times will change, please check the new timetable for details.  Service 115 will also become part of the new circular service - see below for details.

Service 64 (Hull City Centre - Anlaby Road - Priory Road - Cottingham) - Most journeys by this service will now terminate at Castle Hill, and only some evening journeys will still serve Willerby.  See the new timetable for details.

New Circular Service

New!  Circular service: Our popular Services 115 and 154 will join together to form a circular service.  This will link Hull City Centre, Hull Royal Infirmary, the KC Stadium, Anlaby Road, Willerby, Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, Endike Lane, the University and the Avenues.  The changeover point where 115 will change to 154 (and vice versa) will be at Castle Hill Hospital and you don't need to change buses, through tickets are available.  See the new 115 and 154 timetables for details.

Please note that as Service 154 will change to Service 115 at Castle Hill it will no longer serve Cottingham Railway Station.  Passengers wanting the train station can alight the bus at Thwaite Street in Cottingham, and there's just a short walk along Beck Bank to the station.
