04/06/2010 - Open Top Buses - the buses that wear bow ties!
A visit to Scarborough isn't complete without a ride on an Open Top Bus along the seafront. Look out for the buses with bow ties!
From Monday 29 March Open Top Service 109 runs every day, all day until 6pm, up to 31 October.
The bus runs from South Bay (near The Spa) along Foreshore Road, Sandside, Marine Drive and Royal Albert Drive up to North Bay (The Sands). Great views out over the sea from the top deck. Family tickets are available for only £6.70 - buy one from the driver. Adult and child tickets are available too.
You'll even get a free commentary leaflet when you get on the bus, which will give you a bit of information about the scenery you are passing (while stocks last).

Plus, starting from Sunday 25 July, try Open Top Service 108. Running until Saturday 4 September, this bus visits Scarborough Bowls Centre, Nroth Bay, Aquarium Top and Esplanade. So get on board for some great sea views!
