Standard Tickets - Terms and Conditions
Single and Return tickets
- Only valid on date of issue.
- Return tickets are valid to and from the stops printed on the ticket, or between any
two points that fall along the line of route between the stops printed.
- A return ticket is not valid for two single journeys in the same direction.
- Passengers are not permitted to break their journey.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce
a ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on
demand by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings
for recovery as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Go Anywhere Day Tickets
- Valid for an unlimited amount of journeys during the date it is bought.
- Valid on all East Yorkshire and Scarborough & District buses, excluding Hull or
Scarborough Park & Ride services, Moorsbus M1, M2 & M14
or other contract services.
- Family 3 ticket allows travel for 1 adult and up to 2 children.
- Family 6 ticket allows travel for 2 adults and up to 4 children.
- Tickets may be purchased any time of the day or week.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a
ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on
demand by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings
for recovery as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Weekly Point-to-Point Ticket
- Valid for 7 consecutive days from date of purchase.
- Valid only for journeys between the 2 specified points.
- Can be used on all East Yorkshire and Scarborough & District buses between the two
specified points, excluding contract services.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a
ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on
demand by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings
for recovery as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
10% Discount Card
- The 10% Discount Card remains the property of East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) at
all times and can be withdrawn by any member of EYMS staff for misuse of the card.
- The card holder is responsible for reporting the card lost or stolen. The outstanding
credit on the lost or stolen card will be transferred on the new card from the date and
time it was reported lost or stolen. Any credit used between the card being lost/stolen
and the card holder reporting the card lost/stolen will be at the card holder's loss.
- Travelling expenses incurred by the card holder whilst waiting for a replacement card
are non-refundable and wholly the responsibility of the passenger awaiting the replacement.
- A £3 charge will be made for a replacement 10% Discount Card if it is lost or
damaged in any way.
- The card holder is responsible for the care of the card.
- If the card is stolen, a free replacement will only be issued where the card holder
has a valid crime reference number.

You must include your name, card number, address, reason for wanting a replacement and a
contact telephone number or email address.
- Minimum "top-up" amount is £5, maximum is £500.
- Card can be used on all East Yorkshire and Scarborough & District services, excluding
Park and Ride services, the Open Top seafront service in Scarborough, the WC1/WC2/WC3, BC1,
BC2, BC3, BC4 and BC6 services or other special contract services.
- Only new card applications can be made online - cards must be topped up by paying the driver
or visiting one of our Travel Centres in Hull or Scarborough. Payments to the driver should be
made in cash only.
- Cards must only be used by the card holder. If you allow another person to use the card it
will be withdrawn immediately.
- You can use the card to pay the fare of someone travelling with you if you wish.
- The 10% discount is available on single and return fares only.
- Please do not let your card balance fall to £0.00 or it will become invalid.
- Card holders should keep their paper ticket when on the bus in case a ticket inspector
boards the service.
- The cards do not have an end date. They are expected to last 5 years if kept in a clean
and unbent condition.

Annual Zonal Tickets
- Valid for 1 year from date of purchase.
- Valid on all buses in the specified zone. Some exceptions apply, excludes contract services
and Park & Ride.
- The pass can be used for an unlimited number of journeys.
- The pass can be used at any time of day.
- Available through salary sacrifice schemes via employers.
- A passport-style photograph must be supplied.
- Annual tickets must only be used by the passholder. If you allow another person to use the
pass it will be withdrawn immediately and no refund will be issued. You will not be allowed to
apply for another pass.
- The pass remains the property of East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) at all times and can
be withdrawn by any EYMS staff member for misuse of the card.
- The passholder is responsible for reporting the card lost or stolen.
- Travelling expenses incurred by the passholder whilst waiting for a replacement pass are
non-refundable and wholly the responsibility of the passenger awaiting the replacement.
- A £10 fee will be charged for a replacement pass.
- The passholder is responsible for the care of the pass.
- Passes can be reported lost, stolen or damaged by calling BusCall on 01482 22 22 22 or emailing
BusCall. You must include your name,
pass number, address, reason for wanting a replacement and a contact telephone number or email address.

Hull Tickets - Terms and Conditions
Hull Day Rover
- Allows unlimited number of journeys on day of purchase up to midnight.
- Valid on all East Yorkshire buses, excluding contract services.
- Valid only for journeys made within the Hull Zone. Does not include journeys made within
the Hull Plus Zone.
- Cannot be used on service 701.
- Passengers may not break their journey, i.e. cannot buy a Hull Day Rover ticket up to the
boundary and then buy another ticket.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a ticket,
pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery as
a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Hull Plus Weekly Ticket
- Allows unlimited number of journeys during 7 consecutive days.
- Valid only for journeys made within the Hull Plus or Hull Zones.
- Valid on all East Yorkshire services, excluding contract services.
- Can be bought from the driver or from selected PayPoint outlets.
- Cannot be used on service 701.
- Passengers may not break their journey, i.e. cannot buy a Hull Plus ticket up to the boundary
and then buy another ticket.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a ticket,
pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery as a civil debt.

Bridlington Tickets - Terms and Conditions
Bridlington Day Rover
- Allows unlimited number of journeys on day of purchase.
- Valid on all East Yorkshire buses, excluding contract services.
- Valid only for journeys made within the Bridlington Zone.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a ticket,
pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery
as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Bridlington Weekly Ticket
- Allows unlimited number of journeys for 7 consecutive days from day of purchase.
- Valid only for journeys made within the Bridlington Zone.
- Valid on all East Yorkshire services, excluding contract services.
- Can be bought from the driver, or from selected PayPoint outlets.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a
ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand
by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery
as a civil debt.

Scarborough Tickets - Terms and Conditions
Scarborough Park & Ride Family Return Tickets
- Valid between the P&R site at which it is issued and Scarborough Town Centre, for one
journey in each direction.
- Valid on Scarborough P&R buses only.
- Allows travel for 2 adults and up to 2 children.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a
ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on
demand by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings
for recovery as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Scarborough Park & Ride Weekly Tickets
- Allows an unlimited number of journeys for 7 consecutive days from day of purchase.
- Valid on Scarborough Park & Ride buses only.
- Can be bought from the driver, from on-site ticket machines or from selected PayPoint outlets.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a
ticket, pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on
demand by an inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for
recovery as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Scarborough Park & Ride Monthly Tickets
- Allows an unlimited number of journeys for 31 consecutive days from day of purchase.
- Valid on Scarborough Park & Ride buses only.
- Can be bought from the driver, from on-site ticket machines or from selected PayPoint outlets.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a ticket,
pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery
as a civil debt.
- All passengers are subject to our Conditions of Carriage.
Scarborough Park & Ride Annual Tickets
- Valid for 1 year from date of purchase.
- Valid on Scarborough Park & Ride buses only.
- The pass can be used for an unlimited number of journeys.
- Can only be bought direct from EYMS.
- A passport-style photograph must be supplied.
- Annual ticket passes must only be used by the passholder. If you allow another person to use
the card it will be withdrawn immediately and no refund will be issued. You will not be allowed
to apply for another pass.
- The pass remains the property of East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) at all times and can be
withdrawn by any EYMS staff member for misuse of the card.

pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery as a
civil debt.

Scarborough Weekly Ticket
- Allows unlimited number of journeys for 7 consecutive days from day of purchase.
- Valid only for journeys made within the Scarborough Zone.
- Valid on all Scarborough & District services, excluding contract services.
- Can be bought from the driver, or from selected PayPoint outlets.
- A standard fare of £35 applies for all journeys, unless passengers can produce a ticket,
pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery as a
civil debt.

Student Cards - Terms and Conditions
Student Semester Card
- The 'Semester Card' remains the property of East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) at all times
and can be withdrawn by any member of EYMS staff for misuse of the card.
- The card holder is responsible for reporting the card lost or stolen.
- Travelling expenses incurred by the card holder whilst waiting for a replacement card are
non-refundable and wholly the responsibility of the passenger awaiting the replacement.
- A £10 fee will be charged for a replacement 'Semester Card'.
- The card holder is responsible for the care of the card.
- Cards can be reported lost, stolen or damaged by calling BusCall on 01482 22 22 22 or emailing
buscall@eyms.co.uk. You must include
your name, card number, address, reason for wanting a
replacement and a contact telephone number or email address.
- Card can be used on the following services unlimited times: 102, 105 and 115. The card can also
be used to travel between Hull City Centre and the city boundary (Tesco's) on services 121, X46 and
246, and on the X47 from Hull City Centre to The Lawns, unlimited times. Card is not valid on night
service 106/107.
- Cards must only be used by the card holder. If you allow another person to use the card it will
be withdrawn immediately and no refund will be issued. You will not be allowed to apply for another
card.
- Students may apply for both the Semester Card and the Student 20% Discount Card.
- If you leave university before the pass expires you can send your card, and a letter explaining
you have withdrawn from your course, to: EYMS Student Travel Cards, 252 Anlaby Road, Hull, HU3 2RS.
EYMS will issue a refund on the remaining portion of your card, less an administration fee.
- Online applications are for new cards only - existing card holders must update and pay at one
of our Bus Travel Centres or at the EYMS stall at the University Welcome Week.

pass or permit for inspection at any point in the journey. This sum is payable on demand by an
inspector or company official. Failure to pay could lead to court proceedings for recovery as a

Student 20% Discount Card
- The Student 20% Discount Card remains the property of East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS)
at all times and can be withdrawn by any member of EYMS staff for misuse of the card.
