Going flying

Published on

Mrs A writes to thank a driver who came to her assistance when she had an accident:

"I tripped on a pothole on a zebra crossing on Princes Avenue last night, and went flying, landing on my front" she writes.  "Being 36 weeks pregnant, I was very upset, and the driver who had stopped to let me cross came rushing to my aid to make sure I was ok.

He wasn't obliged to stop, and I would just like to say thank you for his concern, and making sure we could arrange to get to the hospital before he left.

You should feel proud of the genuine care and compassion your driver showed.

Please could you pass on my thanks and let him know that baby and I are ok (apart from a few bruises and grazes on me!)."

Glad to hear you and your little 'passenger' are ok - EYMS
