Helping with the move to 'big school'

Published on

We were recently passed a message from a teacher at one of the local secondary schools.  The school had just had a 'Transition Day', when local Year Six primary school children come in to see how the 'big school' works.  One of the parents of these children mentioned to the teacher how impressed she was with the driver of the school bus.  The driver had seen her child and her friends get on the bus, and had spoken to them to explain where they should sit, and to let him know if they had any problems.  He certainly put their minds at rest - hopefully the rest of their day went equally smoothly!
