East Yorkshire Coaches team up with Pirates

Hull Pirates ice hockey team are delighted to announce that East Yorkshire Coaches will be joining them as a partner in the 2016/17 season.

Based in Hull, East Yorkshire Coaches is part of East Yorkshire Motor Services, who have been running buses in and around the city for nearly 90 years. With a fleet of around 300 coaches and buses, East Yorkshire Motor Services also provides bus services, school buses, coach holidays and day trips.

East Yorkshire Coaches will provide the Pirates with travel to all of their away games for the new campaign.

Speaking about the new partnership with the Pirates, East Yorkshire Motor Services’ Business Development Manager David Shipp said “As a long established, local and independent coach company, East Yorkshire Coaches is always delighted when we are able to provide our services within the local community.

“We are therefore thrilled to be able to work with the Hull Pirates and look forward to what will hopefully be a mutually beneficial partnership with the Pirates off the ice and a successful season for the team on it.”

Hull Pirates owner Shane Smith added: “It’s a great pleasure to partner with East Yorkshire Coaches as part of the Hull Pirates 2016-17 season.

“Working with local companies is something that we’ve been looking forward to doing and it’s great that we’ve been able to come to an agreement.

“They will also be coming on board as part of a sponsorship deal.  We would like to thank David Shipp for making this possible and we are really looking forward to working with them. We thank East Yorkshire Coaches for their support for the upcoming season.”
