Hull Explorer Queens Gardens June 2017

Start your adventure here, with Hull Explorer, the city's new hop on, hop off tour bus.

Running every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday all summer, from 22 July* until 3 September, you can experience the city from a new perspective.

Hop on board the open top bus and let the guide tell you the story of Hull and its landmarks, including:

  • Cenotaph
  • Queen Victoria Square
  • Wilberforce Monument
  • Museums Quarter
  • Hull Minster
  • The Deep
  • The Marina and waterfront

Adult day tickets are just £8, child day tickets are £5, and family tickets £21, with concessionary tickets (for students and those with concessionary bus passes) only £6.  Children under 5 travel for free.  No need to book your ticket in advance, just buy it from the bus driver.

There'll be six journeys a day, with each tour lasting about an hour and a half, although you can hop on and off all day - see the full Hull Explorer leaflet.

Are you interested in hiring the bus for a large group or event?  The bus and guide are available for private hires on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, plus evenings and out of the summer season.  Find out more about hiring Hull Explorer.

* Please note that on Friday 28 July, Saturday 29 July and the morning of Sunday 30 July, there will be road closures for events in the city centre that will affect Hull Explorer.  All day on Friday and Saturday, Carr Lane will be closed, so we won't be able to serve stops at Queen Victoria Square (outside City Hall) or Wilberforce Drive.  All other stops will be served as normal.  On Sunday, roads along most of the route will be closed during the morning for the triathlon event.  This means the first two journeys of the day (the ones that leave Cenotaph at 9.30am and 11am) will not run.  During Sunday afternoon, the bus will be able to run all journeys with its full route as normal.
