Freedom Festival - go by bus!

Published on

Hull's award-winning Freedom Festival is back for its 12th year, using the wonderful city as its stage.  An arts festival like no other running from Wednesday 28 August until Sunday 1 September.

Artists from across the world will converge in the city to delight, challenge and mystify audiences with jaw-dropping circus, thought-provoking performances, visual arts exhibitions, digital arts, debates and talks, street theatre, music from across the globe and mischievous projects and interventions that will engage in all ages.

There are plenty of buses running into Hull from across the region throughout each day with the festival activity taking place all across the City Centre, including Queens Gardens, Trinity Square, Zebedee's Yard and the Fruit Market.  Board or alight the bus at Hull Paragon Interchange or in the City Centre.  See buses to and from Hull.

Staying late to see the evening events?  We have late night buses to Cottingham, The Avenues, Beverley, Hessle, Willerby, Anlaby, Brough, East Hull, Withernsea and more.

Coming on the Sunday?  From 1 September there will be extra Sunday buses into Hull from Willerby and Hessle, plus our usual regular services from across the region.

Be festival ready – download the East Yorkshire Buses app on the App Store or Google Play for live departure information from your stop and full bus timetables.  No change?  No problem.  Contactless is accepted on all our buses.
