Wyke Cards

If you're a student at Wyke College you can buy our Wyke Card bus pass.

Your card gives you unlimited travel on any of our Wyke bus services – you can buy it for one period at a time, or for the full year.

If you buy the Full Year Wyke Card now you won't have to worry about bus fares for the rest of the academic year!

Please note, that if you want your card to be ready for the start of term, please make sure you apply by 5pm on Friday 31 August. If you don’t, your card may not be ready in time and you will have to pay for bus fares until your card arrives at college, which may take several days.

If you buy a shorter period Wyke Card, you'll need to top up your card before the deadline for the next term if you want to keep travelling. For example, if you buy the Period 1 Wyke Card, you'll need to 'top it up' with Period 2 before the second period starts. The College will email you to remind you to do this. To top up your card, simply apply online for the correct period – you’ll have to upload your details again so we know whose card to top up. If you top up your card, you can continue using your existing card as normal when you come back to college for the new term. Do not throw your existing card away, just keep using it. However, if you don't apply for the Period 2 'top up' before the start of the new period, your card will stop working. We’ll have to produce you a new card, which could take up to 10 days to be ready - and in the meantime, you will have to pay a fares of £2 per journey on the bus every day. You will also be charged a £10 admin fee because we’ve had to make you a new card. So please make sure you top up your card in time!
